BEST FREE CODING PRACTICE WEBSITES
Best Free Coding Practice Websites for Beginners
A few months ago, I wanted to improve my coding skills. I watched many YouTube videos, but when I tried to solve questions on my own, I got stuck.
Then I started using coding practice websites, and they helped me learn much faster.
The first website I used was HackerRank. I liked it because the questions started from an easy level.
It gave me confidence when I solved my first few problems.
After that, I tried LeetCode. I will be honest, many questions looked difficult in the beginning. Sometimes I could not solve even one problem. Still, I learned something new every time I practiced.
For learning basic concepts, W3Schools was very helpful.
Whenever I forgot a topic, I quickly checked the examples there and tested the code myself.
I also spent time on GeeksforGeeks. The website has simple explanations and many examples. It became one of my regular study resources.
Another platform I explored was CodeChef. I enjoyed trying coding challenges because they made practice feel more interesting.
In my opinion, beginners should not try every website at once. Pick one platform, practice regularly, and focus on understanding the basics first.
Coding is not about watching endless tutorials. The real learning starts when you write code, make mistakes, and fix them yourself.
Learning coding is exciting, but many beginners make the same mistake. They spend hours watching tutorials and very little time writing actual code. Because of this, they understand concepts but struggle when they try to solve problems themselves.
I faced the same issue when I started learning programming. Everything looked easy in videos, but when I opened a coding editor, I often did not know where to begin.
After trying different platforms, I found some websites that helped me improve my coding skills. Here are the ones I think are worth checking out.
